Please allow me to introduce myself. 

My name is Mike Jay and I'll be your guide through this brief overview of our leadership, business and executive coach training programs.

Welcome to Business, Executive and Leadership Coaching!

In the fall of 1987, I realized that life was too short to spend in pursuit of empty goals and achievements.  It took some time to understand how to put myself in a position to find a deeper meaning in my own life and business.  Yet, finding meaning was not enough.  I wanted to become part of something bigger, to belong and to support the awakening of a different kind of business in a different kind of world.

I realized that being a part of healthy and generative business network is a profound way to impact the world.  It's not just about business, it's about people, business and the social order we create as a result.

Over the years following the changes I made in my life to become generative, I started looking for those ways of being that were central to creating not just win-win, but the third win.  I named this state of win-win-win--generati.

In search of this theory of practice, I researched everything I could find on leadership, development and business best practices and put them to the test in a business and organizational environment.  It took more than 15 years, but I was able to express 5 core competencies of generati:  attention, intention, alignment, capability and coaching.

These five constructs of leadership reality are fashioned together in a practical and useful approach in our business coaching program to create powerful action for people in business.  We've perfected a program of business coach development as a result of weaving together the knowledge, skills and abilities that create a strong fabric of RightAction™--the right people, doing the right things in the right way at the right time for the right reasons.

One thing that is important for you to know is that rather than reinvent the wheel, we have taken the time to synthesize the best research in a variety of fields, including biology, affective neuroscience, emotional intelligence, organizational learning, adult development, quantum physics and psychology to name a few.  The models we've synthesized and teach are directly correlated to this research and leave you with a solid theoretical and practical background in developmental coaching, not with a bunch of opinions you continuously have to prove to prospects, but reliable and valid models of experience.

We know that business systems are complex and that what is right for some situations won't produce generative results in another.  Therefore, we show people how to listen, observe, discern, model and deliver the right inquiry and to facilitate the right kind of dialogue--guiding business systems into a generative space.

What does business coaching do?

Business Coaching provides a structured system of strategic conversations designed to create alignment between personal and organizational development.

While business coaching requires the person being coached to clarify, accept and maintain personal responsibility, accountability and authority over their own behavior towards desired outcomes, business coaching gets results through the use of coaching interactions designed to:

1. Connect the client to what is important--eliminating wasted action and low productivity.

2. Clarify what is required--increasing speed and lowering cycle time in process improvement.

3. Gain a Commitment to Right Action--getting the right people to do the right things in the right way at the right time for the right reasons.

Clearly, business coaching is a real-time investment in people, processes, strategy and customers with the shortest distance between identifying performance and development issues that can be utilized to increase what is already working (strengths) and to remove the barriers to enhancing awareness, purpose, competence and well-being.
