This session will present the theoretical and
practical background for using emotional competencies to improve
performance, change and transformation. We discuss the following
information:

Understand the Emotional Intelligence model and competency framework

Experience and integrate your own or generic ECI data
-
Use and interpret the ECI
-
Analyze and integrate ECI data as part of a coaching initiative
Bringing Emotional Intelligence into the
workplace
In Working With Emotional
Intelligence, Goleman’s research indicated four hierarchical
clusters of emotional competence, one leading to the other.
The model is represented through the
following diagram:

DELIVERY METHODOLOGY AND PROCESS:

Power Point Presentation -- slide show outlining the
methodology, approximately 45 minutes depending on interactive
questions.

30 min review of the emotional competency assessment

30 min structured and guided learning process as each person
identifies leverage for themselves in emotional competence.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES AND CONTENT
OUTLINE:

Attendees will learn the emotional competence model and how this system
creates leverage for learning and growth in emotional intelligence.

the emotional competencies from Daniel Goleman's WORKING WITH EMOTIONAL
INTELLIGENCE to produce effective personal and organizational results in
