Coaching is not about doing – it is about being.  To “B\Coach” is the essential meaning of business coaching.  B\First, then get results! 

§         Learn “to” Coach!

Most programs teach you about coaching but provide very little experiential learning integrated into their coach training.  B\Coach bases its business coach development system in action learning.   We teach you about coaching and then you coach – every week of the program.   Coaching is not learned through the neo-cortex, it is learned through the limbic system.  Learning through the limbic system requires action learning, introspection, reflection and practice.  Don't be fooled by lecture-based programs with demonstration role plays, that's not enough to rewire the limbic system!

§         Learn about business

Set in a business context with business people doing business coaching.  Make no bones about it, coaching in business requires you to understand business and to work with people who do!  We’re serious about business.  Our new CoachMBA program helps you understand and relate to business people at all levels of business without worry about whether you know enough about business to function within a business system! 

§         Become a Certified Business Coach!

In an emerging field like coaching, you can find distinction through credentialing.  The International Consortia of Business Coaches is an organization specifically formed by leading business coaches to serve the interests of business coaching.  Two credentials are offered: Certified Business Coachä and Master Business Coach.  Credentialing opportunities are offered at the conclusion of each program as well as throughout the world upon occasion. 

§         Structured experiential learning!

Our program is developmentally better because we utilize a structured learning approach – not a hodgepodge of unrelated classes taken in random order.  Structured learning moves from basic to sophisticated.  It is programmed through spaced repetitions and conditioning to integrate the learning into your being, over time. 

§         Referent groups increase learning potential.

Unlike most programs where people are allowed to come and go – our program is designed to optimize your learning experiences by assembling and facilitating a fixed group throughout the entire six-month program – culminating in a face-to-face retreat.  Our participants bond during the first few weeks of the program – going on to create deeper learning and coaching mastery as real world issues are brought into the safety of the group.  Deeper levels of learning are achieved through real-life issues in every coaching role-play. 

§         3:1 facilitator ratio

Our 3:1 facilitator ratio is unsurpassed in the coach training industry.  We use a proven method of creating action learning sessions where each member of the coaching triad:  person coaching, person being coached and observer switches roles to create 360° learning during facilitated feedback. 

§         Low-cost virtual training

Avoid the high costs of travel, time and lost opportunity by joining our virtual training programs.  We use the telephone, Internet and e-mail to connect people, distribute materials electronically and build community.  Just two evenings a week for 1.5 hrs each, provide you with the opportunity to learn to coach.  However, to cap off the program, each group meets for a 3.5-day retreat to complete certification, training and the opportunity to be together in person. The program is designed to be least cost to participants.  We provide materials by electronic means that you have the option of printing and cataloging in a conventional manner. 

§         Just show up!

That’s right, you win if you show up.  No outside requirements – all training is delivered in self-contained sessions meeting 2x week.  The program accommodates busy schedules and family commitments. 

§         Online Competency Reviews

Each module is accompanied by online competency reviews that help integrate the material more deeply through an additional modality of development.  These short quick reviews provide check-backs that are effective in self-assessment of learning gained from action learning sessions. 

§         Make-up sessions available

We know you’re busy and we’re not interested in asking you to trade-off your child’s soccer game or a skiing trip or just a bad day to stay in synch with the program.  We offer make-up sessions each week for those who miss or those people wanting extra practice.  If you can’t make the structured make-up sessions, our facilitators are available for customized sessions. 

§         Real Audio Learning

Real audio learning is available to reinforce the class sessions in case you miss or just want extra time with the material.  Recordings of actual coaching sessions help integrate the material more deeply and provide additional guidelines for development of your coaching skills. 

§         Real time coaching optional!

Each participant is provided with the opportunity for coaching during the program.  A minimum of 10 minutes per week is available at low cost.  Participants have the option to be coached by certified coaches who help you learn the coaching model more quickly and help you with issues, which are important to you now! 

§         §         Take B-Coach with you!

No program offers you the flexibility and success of B\Coach.  When you complete your B\Coach program – you’ll be licensed to use B\Coach in organizations!  You’ll know the program inside and out, and all you pay is a materials license fee for each participant you train.  You no train the trainer fee to use B\Coach in your private practice or development inside your organizations, just pay the fee for each participant. 

Join the partners!

Once you complete B\Coach and are certified as a “Business Coach” you can apply for membership with a professional group of business coaches who have formed B\Coach Partners, LLP.  The purpose of B\Coach Partners, LLP is to create business results through collaborative coaching and development. 

§         Enhance emotional competence

The program utilizes the Leadership Engagement Inventory to develop all participants during the program.  This instrument developed over the past four years leverages emotional intelligence during the leadership coaching process utilizing spiral dynamics.  We also use the PIAV-Personal Interests, Attitudes & Values Survey from TTIDisc, Learning Styles Inventory, The Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Survey, The Reiss Profile of Motivational Sensitivity and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Step II to round out the development opportunity to increase emotional competence in the program. 

§         Build Community!

B\Coach means community.  Our program is designed to foster closeness and togetherness.  We learn by being vulnerable, by taking chances and by learning to fail in a safe, secure environment.  We also know that people bond when they “walk through fire together” and we foster opportunities for serious development of skills, practices and ways of being—together!  All members submit photos and bios and the group is able to grow in community.  An email discussion list is moderated for community building.  Once you graduate, the opportunity for continued development is available!
