Business Coach Development System (BCDS)

Global competitiveness now leads the Top10 Concerns for leaders, managers and trainers, yet what can we do about it in terms of addressing concerns at the least common denominator of our business?  Create a coaching culture.  Sound simple?  Don't think for a moment.  Organizations are not prepared for longitudinal interventions that require time, slack and self-generating leadership mastery!

In 1999, LEADWISE, LLC, a virtual coaching organization began providing a BCDS for directly influencing the organizational effectiveness of business systems.  This unique program was designed to model the COACH2 Coaching Methodology during the training process centered in a virtual project environment.  Students coming from all areas of practice, levels of experience and functions find in this forum to learn, a simple, yet elegant and scalable coaching methodology which integrates within the day to day leadership and management challenges of modern business.

The program will be delivered in five formats: virtually over teleconferencing bridge to anywhere in the world (for multinational teams as well); available over corporate intranet; delivery on a self-paced multimedia CDROM; in face-to-face sessions; and available for asynchronous online delivery to remote areas.  Each format, in varying and customizable links, is integrated with longitudinal coaching over a selected period of time.

What is unique about this program is that in the virtual environment, technology is used to simulate virtual break-out sessions designed around action learning--experience and reflection on that experience--which models the real time environment for pennies on the dollar in costs.  This method of training is effective, scalable and designed to increase in sophistication over time.  The program can be delivered in piece-meal depending on immediate business needs and then scaled to meet more sophisticated needs over time with longitudinal coaching integrated into the format. 

The basic methodology can be taught to line managers who then begin a "guided" experiential journey to increased levels of mastery and sophistication over time through the introduction of more advanced skill sets and practice levels.  The key issue is that the scalability of the program is suitable for coaching in an organization at all levels from Customer Service Representatives to the Senior Executive teams--allowing for the entire organization to integrate a coaching culture and coaching system from day 1 forward.

The program is buoyed by the recent publication of COACH2 The Bottom Line:  An Executive Guide to Coaching Performance, Change and Transformation in Organizations written by the program founding and managing member of LEADWISE, LLC, Mike Jay, Business Coach.

The critical issues in this design are integrated around modeling the work done in a competitive business environment, creating increasing levels of coaching sophistication and mastery over time, least cost in an implementation program using a variety of customizable training formats, all the while focusing the entire organization on achieving high quality business results.
