Assumptions:
· Design follows basic generic format
· Design creates flexibility for customizing training options
· Design facilitates the transparent learning of business
concepts
· Initial design precedes beta deliveryfollowed by adaptive
response
· Initial design is directed to virtual delivery, adapted for f2f
delivery
·
Design is scalable through all levels of the organization
Values:
· Simplicity
· Portability
· Adaptability
· Scalability
Vision:
· NOW
Design creates shortcuts for constructing the B\Coach within 6 months in a
virtual format that allows for reconstruction and flexibility in creating a
f2f (Face to face) format easily. Design allows for adaptability to many
different organizational training designs and clearly paves the way for an
integration of virtual and f2f formats. Design creates least cost training
development. Design facilitates implementation and high student and customer
satisfaction. Certified Business Coaches become effective
facilitators who model and teach the system to organizations.
· NEAR
The effectiveness of the design allows for many adaptive responses as the
B\Coach enters corporations and is used by B\Coach Trainers and Corporate Trainers
to design coaching systems to facilitate business results upon impact and
implementation of the B\Coach. Design creates opportunities for profitability
for B\Coach due to its streamlined and customizable nature and its high
acceptance to both trainers and students of the B\Coach in both virtual and f2f
environments.
· FAR
The integral B\Coach Design creates learning outcomes for participants in
the program that are highly motivating, effective in terms of meeting
program goals and easily replicable and scalable by training coordinators to
create organizational effectiveness.
Design would facilitate porting of
concepts into the design that maintain design integrity and create leverage
for all modules of the program to be easily connected to each other,
allowing for flow between concepts and combinatorial gain from leverage
created through design structure of concepts relating to business needs and
results required by business systems.
Design is effective in all settings
and combinations of settings in delivering core competencies, the CIM
process and Key Abilities of the B\Coach towards measurable business results
upon impact and over time.
Design creates an action learning format that is unique,
replicable in virtual environments as well as face to face training
opportunities.

Certification
Standards to guide ultimate design
· Use Core Competencies as reference for entire design
· Generic Module Design Format = 1 hour of elapsed time in
face-to-face format and 1.5 hour of time in a virtual teledevelopment
format*
In virtual format:
Ideal class size is 12 students, 12 mentor/12 coaches and facilitators
in multiples
combinations of 3, where mentor coaches may fill in for process roles in even
situations.
o Approximately 30 minutes content delivery by trainer
§ Includes intro/summary
o 45 minutes experiential practice in 3 person team
w/facilitator
§ Includes process of breaking out
§ person coaching (pc)
§ person being coached (pbc)
§ observer (o)
§ facilitator
§ each person takes turn being each of the three positions pc,
pbc, o for allotted time
§ facilitator observes process and provides verbal feedback in
virtual environment to each pc and group process feedback to entire group
after breakouts, and all participants participate in behavior event feedback
process
o Reflection in group process if time allotted
§ Includes regroup time
§ Each person reports learnings
§ Additional processing by facilitators
· Decisions to use breaks depending on customization of modules and
grouping of modules is dependent on desired training outcomes. Both the
beginning and ending phases allow for time to be removed from each to
accommodate sufficient breaks at natural transition points, however modules
are internally designed to facilitate "movement."*
· In the above beginning, middle and end phases of module design
and deliveryconnection, clarification and commitment are modeled indirectly
through the process by trainers!
*Grouping and ungrouping provides change in activity to re-stimulate physical
process and break up boredom. Serves as cognitive breaks.
